FIND A PLACE TO DANCE was a collaborative installation honoring the origins of Chicago House music and the influence it had on contemporary Electronic music and the queer club scene as we know it today. With audio reactive visuals responding to the experimental, contemporary sound from the polymath Sinspiro bracketed by pseudo-promotional posters of closed down or exclusive clubs in Chicago, FIND A PLACE TO DANCE celebrates the birthplace of House music and how the genre paved the way for the safe spaces queer people utilize today.
